Caped LarryBoy vs. The Bad Apple.

The Super Mental Automatic Replacement Technology Cape, or "S.M.A.R.T." Cape, is a gadget of LarryBoy.

It is usually connected to the Larry-Suit.

The timeframe of the cape's creation by Alfred Asparagus retcons the previous timeframe of the cartoon LarryBoy series, as LarryBoy always uses the cape in that show, meaning that the cartoon series happens after LarryBoy and the Bad Apple, but before The League of Incredible Vegetables.

Appearances

In LarryBoy: The Cartoon Adventures

The cape played an important part in the series, and even in the Angry Eyebrows, LarryBoy used it to stop Awful Alvin and his evil minions.

In LarryBoy in Tip Top Cape Shape!

The cape is worn by LarryBoy throughout some of the book, and at some points the cape was digitally entered into previously existing images of LarryBoy, for news article clippings, posters, etc.

In the LarryBoy and the Bad Apple video game

The S.M.A.R.T. Cape's creation was explored in this game, as a main gadget LarryBoy had to use. It's other "powers" besides flying were:

  • Cucumber of Steel - With one twirl, LarryBoy's cape will enshroud him and turn him to steel, so that he can evade enemies, activate pannels, look weird, etc.
  • Electricity - One more twirl turns the Power Pickle into a bure arc of electricity, so he can activate pannels, switches, etc.

Quotes

"And now, Master Larry, allow me to introduce to you a brand new gadget."

"Oh, boy!"

"I call it the Super Mental Automatic Replacement Technology Cape...or, S.M.A.R.T. cape, for short."

"Clever."

"Uh, S.M.A.R.T. rather, Master Larry."

--Alfred Asparagus and LarryBoy, upon Alfred introducing Larry to the S.M.A.R.T. Cape.
